  • high quality surgical armaments;
  • mobile digital X-ray plant produced by Philips, which allows conducting operative X-ray tests directly during operations.

In LISSOD practically all rational modern methods of anesthesia and intensive therapy are implemented for cancer treatment. Due to it the surgeons can execute operations of any level of complexity. Less traumatic laparoscopic operations are preferable and available since the most up-to-date laparoscopic equipment and unique technologies are implemented here. Laparoscopic operations are executed with the help of the camera and specialized surgical instruments, which are introduced into the small (5-10 mm) incisions in abdominal and breast cavity. Operation area in exact and zoomed image is visible to the operation team on a special screen transmitting the image due to the camera. Application of laparoscopic operations significantly diminishes after-operative pain, meanwhile recovery period and coming back to substantial life essentially decreases.

Usual classical operation on kidney tumor removal requires big abdominal or side incision and sometimes rib removal and in most cases causes complications of post-operative sore, chronic pains, weakness of abdominal wall and often disability of patients. In LISSOD such operations are executed with laparoscopic route by Israeli surgeons that are very experienced in this field. After operation 4-5 small seams up to 2-3 cm remains; and the patient sojourn in stationary decreases up to 3-4 days

Potential of surgical treatment in LISSOD:

  • all types of biopsy;
  • wide application of implantation systems for venous access Port-a-Cath that are used for long-term chemotherapy;
