Computer tomography (CT)is rather informative
method of X-ray study which allows receiving lay-by-lay image of internal structure of
the examined organs via complicated computer data processing, received in the process of
transition through the tissues by the focused X-ray beam.
LISSOD computer tomography represents the
following:
- Usage of multi-slice computer tomographer produced by PHILLIPS Medical Systems, which
allows conducting studies in axial and spiral modes. There is a possibility to
reconstruct the images of 0.5 mm width;
- Modern software and hardware ensuring the highest level of computer tomography;
- Usage of tissue contrast for CT studies. Because of the most tissues’ similar
thickness and mostly identical solidity and absorption of X-rays, sometimes it’s
difficult for the doctor to differentiate the separate structures of the organism and to
provide the exact image analysis. That’s why, in order to improve visualization, CT with
contrasting is provided at LISSOD. In such way the tissues firmness is artificially
changed, thus the improvement of separate structures visualization is managed. For
intravenous contrast intake the Med Rad injector system is applied, which provide an
option of intravenous contrast intake control per second (including the process of
angiography of any degree of complexity);
- The widest scope of diagnostic services:
- computer tomography of head;
- computer tomography of neck;
- computer tomography of thoracic cavity;
- computer tomography of the upper section of abdominal cavity;
- computer tomography of the lower section of abdominal cavity and pelvis.
- CT urography;
- Biopsy execution under CT.
Due to modern telemedicine potential the double overview of all diagnostic CT studies
is provided at LISSOD, by our radiologists and Israel partners. Telemedicine allows
on-line consultation performance with participation of specialists from the leading world
oncological centres.
