In 1978, Zoe Shklyar graduated from Vitebsk State Medical Institute. In 1979 - internship in obstetrics and gynecology. In 1981 she received a specialization in oncology. Then, on the basis of the Research Institute of Oncology and Medical Radiology she received a specialization in oncogynecology in Baraulyany Minsk, Belarus. In the same year took part in the project "endolymphatic chemotherapy in Oncogynecology. In 1983 she received a specialization in cytology based on that institution.1985-1990.  worked as Oncogynecologist in cancer clinic, Bobruisk, Belarus. Since 1985, oncologist of first category.

Since 1990, Dr. Shklyar continued his career in Israel, where she worked in medical institutions:

• clinical oncologist at the Department of Oncology in Beilinson hospital (Petah Tikva), Israel;
• clinical oncologist in one of the largest hospitals Rambam (Haifa), Israel, on the basis of the same hospital, Dr. Shklyar specialized in clinical oncology and radiology;
• From 1998 to 2009. worked as a oncologist at the Department of Oncology in hospital in Caramel (Haifa), Israel.
  
  

She is currently an active member of professional associations:

• Israel Medical Association (IMA);
• Israel Society of Clinical Oncology and Radiation Therapy (ISCORT);
• Israel Society of Urologists (ISU);
• Israel Society of ENT doctors (head and neck tumors) (ISHNC);
• European Society of Clinical Oncology (ESMO);
